Can I hire a bike?

We do not hire bikes; instead, we offer guided rides throughout the New Forest on our specialist bikes. Our trained mechanics are with you to ensure everything runs smoothly, and we make sure you don’t get lost. For 2-wheel bikes and child-friendly options, you can hire from:

Do I need to book?

Yes, all rides must be booked in advance. You can book one of our open guided ride sessions here. For private rides, please contact us for availability.

Does my carer need to ride with me?

If you need a carer’s support, they will need to ride with you, either on a tandem or an individual bike.

What are my responsibilities?

You, or your parent/carer, are responsible for your behaviour and any first aid needs during the session. Our leaders and volunteers are first aid trained and carry a first aid kit for assistance if necessary.

What should I wear?

Wear clothing appropriate for cycling and the weather. Please avoid open-toed shoes, sandals, or flip-flops. Helmets are required for all riders unless there’s a medical reason not to wear one. You can bring your own or borrow one from us.

Where do you ride?

Our rides are on off-road cycle tracks in the New Forest, away from traffic and surrounded by nature. While most rides start from Burley, we also have rides from other New Forest locations.

What is the age limit?

There’s no age limit!

Do you need to have a disability to ride?

No, our rides are inclusive for everyone, regardless of ability. We offer 2-wheel bikes as well as specialist bikes for those looking to improve their confidence or enjoy cycling with others.

What bike would be suitable for me?

We can’t say for sure until we meet you! That’s why we ask everyone to attend a free introduction session before booking a guided ride. During the introduction session, you can try out different bikes to see which one suits you best.

Can I bring my family?

Yes! We encourage families to ride together. You can use our bikes, or if you prefer, you can bring your own.

How many people can ride?

We run small group rides, with a maximum of 10 people, including carers. If you’d like to book a private ride (1-2-1 or group), please contact us for availability.

Can I book more than one session?

Yes, we encourage groups to book multiple sessions (6 rides) to make it more cost-effective and to support ongoing health and wellbeing. For guided rides, you can only book one at a time, but feel free to book additional sessions as needed.
